Dividend Portfolio Update - February 2016

Well, the time has come to update my dividend portfolio once again as heading to another start of a new month and a new year. My portfolio is my way to freedom from looking after funds to pay my alimony. One day, the dividend income this portfolio generates will fully cover my alimony. It’s important to keep in mind that I'm updating the overall value of my portfolio because if I have setbacks  I will use the funds in my dividend portfolio to pay my alimony.

February was one of my great month thanks to Buffett shareholder letter and his talking about the American economy, I also added small amount of cash to OHI to catch the low price and averge down the last buying price. my dividend income was very good (I will write about it soon).
The value of my dividend portfolio is: $32,870.03 - 4.20% or $1326.80  increase month over month.

  1. Nice job buying OHI. This stock is down a bit in recent weeks. Long-term, I think OHI is a fantastic stock to own.

  3. It's always nice to see portfolio values increasing but it really doesn't matter much on a month to month basis as values can go up and down quite a bit in a short amount of time. For us, it's more important to see that dividend income grow on a consistent basis as that is a more stable a measurable metric. Thanks for sharing.
